Professional Coaching! (According to the FFC)
Professional coaching, according to the Francophone Coaching Federation (FFC), is a process of support that promotes an individual (or group/team) becoming aware of their ways of functioning, with the objective of overcoming their current situation or achieving their professional and/or personal goals autonomously. It can also be summarized as the art of helping someone find their own solutions and realize their potential within the framework of the company.

Coach, Importance! (According to Joselin Leydier)
A coach is an essential aid for bringing a new momentum from outside into a life phase, a different way of seeing things to extricate oneself from a difficult situation or to achieve a set goal.
Calling on a coach is, first and foremost, recognizing that we are merely human beings who do not seek perfection but strive to live as well as possible with our qualities and flaws while adapting to the world around us.
In the professional sphere, a coach is someone who aims to draw out the best in an individual. They focus on the future and the actions that must be taken to achieve a goal. To do this, they also build upon the lessons and experiences of the past.

Coaching, Testimonial 1! (Bill Gates, Founder of Microsoft)
“Everyone needs a coach, whether you’re a basketball player, a tennis player, or a bridge player (like me) because we all need feedback.” This is how Bill Gates began his TED talk a few years ago. It’s true that the greats of this world—politicians, celebrities, top athletes, business leaders—share one commonality: they all have their own coach.
Coaching, Testimonial 2! (Eric Schmidt, former CEO of Google)
“Everyone needs a coach because we all need feedback. That’s how we progress.
I remember back in 2002, a friend, John Deer, told me: you need a coach, and I responded:
– Why would I need a coach? I’m the CEO! What’s wrong?
– No, you need a coach simply because everyone needs a coach, if only to ask the right questions and gain perspective.
So Bill Campbell became my coach, and that contributed to Google’s success. The greatest athletes, top performers, and famous singers have coaches. If you ask yourself, is this really what you wanted? How did you do that? The coach is the one who gives you perspective. One thing people are not very good at is seeing themselves as they are. A coach will help you see yourself as others do.”
